Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
This book is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry's third year at Hogwarts. For those of you who don't know who Harry Potter is, he's the dude with the lightning-shaped scar on his forehead. His friends at Hogwarts are Ron Weasley (the red-head) and Hermione Granger (the smart girl). You might ask "why did Jasper review the third book instead of the first/second/fourth/fifth/sixth/seventh?" Well, I'll tell you. I haven't read the 6th or 7th yet, and I like the third the best.
In this book, Harry is in danger of being murdered by notorious Sirius Black (you'll find out who he is if you read the book), who is believed to be working alongside Voldemort (the bad guy). Hagrid (the half-giant) adopts a hippogriff named Buckbeack, who is sentenced to execution. This is the first book that actually gets close to Voldemort's appearance. What I mean by that is that a whole new cast of characters is introduced. Some of the new people are Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Wormtail.
Now, for those of you who haven't read any of the Harry Potter books, I advise you to start with the first. But, what do I know? A great book!!! Five out of five stars!!! And I don't care what those critics say!!!

Great review!
ReplyDeleteWhy do you like the Third book better than the others? Is it more scary? Do you like the new cast of characters that it introduces better than the older characters? Or is it something else?
