This is an AMAZING book. I LOVED it when I read it. It's full of action and suspense and (finally) kid power. The first book in the series, it's got a very good plot that I wouldn't want to spoil.
Alright, I'll tell you anyway. Four "orphans", Reynie Muldoon, Sticky Washington, Constance Contraire, and Kate Wetherall all pass strange tests and form a secret society under the orders of Nicholas Benedict. Their mission? To save the world from Mr. Benedict's evil twin. Their chances of succeeding? A hundred to one. BUT, they've got their skills, so they'll make it, right?
A great book! And that goes for people of all ages! Read it as soon as you can! Honestly! That's an order! So why are you still here?
Jasper, if I didn't know you wrote this in the kitchen , all alone, by yourself, I would swear that you had help. I'm so proud of you!
ReplyDeleteHi, Jasper. I love your new blog! I have a question for you: How did you come up with the name "Bookish Boy"?
ReplyDeleteFabulous site, Jasper! Keep us updated on all your good finds. Check out goodreads.com. ..another site for book nerds. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Jasper! Love the blog, and the idea. I think you ought to also add affiliate links to all the books on Amazon.com so if people click through and order the books, you get a little extra spending money for your pocket. Hey...you might as well get rewarded for all this hard reviewing work! Looking forward to reading more of your reviews.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the great comments everyone!!!
ReplyDeleteMy dad came up with the idea of "Bookish Boy".
My ideas were: Booger Sounds Like Books; Book man; Book and Book; Books on Books; Book Boy; and Book box. At least that's what I remember.
Booger Sounds Like Books was too inappropriate, and the rest were already taken.
YOU ARE ALL AWESOME!!!
